Create a Christmas scene in a box! Ideas could include a nativity scene, Santa’s workshop or a Christmas tree. £1 to enter. Please bring your entry on Wednesday 13th December.

Christmas food bank

To support our community school council have decided to have a food bank in school. The food will be sent to ‘The brick’ charity in Wigan on Monday 18th December.

Our current project

This year we are hoping to raise money for a defibrillator in school. So far we have sold friendship bands which have raised £200.

The Easter egg decorating competition.

Nicol Mere children have shown once again how creative they are. The entries to our competition have been outstanding and it’s going to be very difficult to judge! We will announce the winners tomorrow.

Donations for our food bank.

The school council have decided to set up a food bank for families that need extra food at Christmas. This is in partnership with St Peters church. The school council asks that people please give generously, any tins and packets would be greatly appreciated.

My Christmas Wish Competition

This year the children have decided to update our Christmas card competition and instead have a Christmas wish competition. The challenge is to decorate a Christmas star and write a Christmas wish for others on the back. It costs 50p to enter the competition and the closing date is 16th December. All money raised will be donated to our charity Nordoff Robins.
